Brett Clark, Jason Vandehaar, and Tammy Kalsow handle everything from cleanings and same-day crowns to Invisalign, sleep apnea appliances, and full-arch implants, with 7 AM appointments so you're done before work.
Total Care Dental submits claims to every dental plan, in-network or out, and tells you your expected out-of-pocket cost before treatment starts. No insurance? The Wellness Program keeps checkups predictable for $48 a month.
$48 a month for adults covers two cleanings, two exams, two fluoride treatments, diagnostic X-rays, one emergency visit, and laser therapy, plus 10% off other treatment. A periodontal plan is $120 a month. One-time $99 enrollment fee, waived if you pay annually, and you can un-enroll at any time.
Total Care Dental has served Madison since 1972 and still treats every patient like a member of the family: a warm front desk, dentists who explain everything, and a no-judgment welcome for people who have been away from the dentist for years. Dr. Brett Clark graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1997 and joined Total Care Dental in 2001. He has earned more than 800 continuing education credits through the Academy of General Dentistry, served as president of the Dane County Dental Society, teaches on the Meriter Hospital dental staff, and belongs to the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Jason Vandehaar, a University of Michigan graduate and second-generation dentist, completed a residency at Meriter Hospital before joining the team in 2013. Dr. Tammy Kalsow started as a dental assistant in her father's office at 14, became a hygienist, then a dentist, and is known for a thorough, nurturing style that anxious patients mention again and again.
